# PCR “Proof of Covered Roads”
PCR is a contribution token that fuels the "Proof of Travel" (PoT) system, which operates as a reflection of the PoW (Proof of Work) system. It is especially designed with a dynamic reward system and a deflationary background. The distribution amount of PCR will decrease over time through a halving mechanism that is activated by the collective kilometers traveled by the users of Navvigo. The halving system works as follows:
For first 50.000 km went by Navvigo users 20 PCR per km
50.000-100.000 kms 10 PCR per km
100.000-200.000 km 5 PCR per km
200.000-400.000 km 2.5 PCR per km

To restore its value, PCR employs a deflationary supply system. However, in order to preserve the interests of both the community and the Earth, the Navvigo team plans to increase distribution for environmental benefits time to time.
